ECU remapping for the 1.4 turbo
We read the factory file, save a backup, then calibrate boost, fuelling and ignition on our dyno to suit your 595, 695 or 124 Spider.
Automated manual and auto calibration
Where supported, we adjust shift behaviour on the automated manual 595 and the 124 Spider auto so the gearbox keeps up with the extra torque.
Exhaust upgrades
Cat-back and turbo-back systems that bring out the Abarth burble without drone on the freeway, kept within VicRoads noise limits.
Intake and intercooler
A better-flowing intake and a larger front-mount intercooler help the small turbo hold consistent air temperatures on hot days and repeated runs.
Clutch and driveline
Uprated clutch kits and engine mounts for manual cars that are being pushed past Stage 1, so the extra torque actually reaches the road.
Suspension and brakes
Coilovers, lowering springs, alignment and pad and rotor upgrades that sharpen the short wheelbase without making it crashy on Melbourne's patchy roads.

Software only on a healthy, standard car. Expect a stronger midrange and a more eager throttle, with gains that depend on the model and its current condition.
Software recalibrated around a freer exhaust, intake and intercooler. This is where most road-driven 595s and 695s land, and where the clutch needs checking.
Turbo upgrades with supporting fuel, clutch and cooling work. We plan these case by case because the 1.4 and its gearbox have real limits.

Before you tune your Abarth
Start with a health check
We check compression, boost leaks, coil packs and plugs first. A tune shows up any weakness, so we fix those before adding power.
Run 98 RON fuel
Small turbo engines are sensitive to fuel quality. We calibrate on 98 RON and recommend you stick with it after the tune.
Clutch and gearbox limits
The factory clutch on manual 595s has limited headroom. If yours is already slipping or the car is going to Stage 2 or beyond, plan for an uprated clutch.
Warranty and insurance
Tuning can affect your new car warranty and should be disclosed to your insurer. We are happy to talk through the options before you decide.

Yes, the 1.4 turbo responds well to a careful remap and the car is light, so small changes are easy to feel. How much it gains depends on the model, the gearbox and the condition of the engine.
In many cases, yes. We look at both the engine and the gearbox calibration so shifts stay smooth with the extra torque. We will confirm what is supported once we have read your car.
We choose systems designed to stay within VicRoads noise limits for road use. As a Licensed Vehicle Tester we can tell you upfront which options suit a street car.
Not quite. The 124 Spider uses the 1.4 MultiAir turbo in a rear-drive Mazda-based chassis, so its gearbox, cooling and suspension needs are different. We calibrate it as its own car.
