Check the known EA888 weak points
We inspect the water pump and thermostat housing for leaks, the PCV system and ignition components, as these are common issues on EA888 engines.
Respect the gearbox limits
S tronic gearboxes have torque limits, and older units may already have worn clutches. Gearbox tuning is strongly recommended from Stage 2 upwards.
Run 98 RON fuel
Our Audi calibrations are written for 98 RON. Lower octane fuel reduces performance and increases the risk of knock.
Warranty and insurance
Tuning can affect your Audi warranty and should be disclosed to your insurer. We save your original file so the car can be returned to standard.
