Start where it makes sense for your car and budget, then build from there. Every stage is calibrated in-house.
Software only on a healthy car. For most Citroens this is the right step, adding response and midrange torque, with results depending on engine and model.
Software with intake and exhaust upgrades, mostly suited to the DS3 Racing and 1.6 THP cars. Diesels rarely need to go beyond Stage 1.
Turbo and fuel system changes are rarely sensible on a Citroen. We consider them only on specific performance models after a full assessment.

Before you tune your Citroen
Check the timing system
The 1.6 THP is known for timing chain wear, and the PureTech 1.2 uses an oil-bathed timing belt that needs inspecting. We check these before any tuning.
Carbon build-up
Direct-injection THP engines can build up carbon on the intake valves, which affects how they run. We may recommend cleaning before a tune.
Emissions hardware stays
We do not remove DPFs, EGR valves or catalytic converters. Our diesel tunes are designed to work with the factory emissions equipment.
Fuel and warranty
Petrol models are calibrated for 98 RON. Tuning can affect warranty and should be declared to your insurer.
Citroen tuning questions
For the DS3 Racing, 1.6 THP models and HDi diesels, a careful tune can make a noticeable difference to response and drivability. For other models we will tell you honestly if it is worth it.
Some older Citroens use engines or control units with limited software support. We confirm what is possible once we have checked your car.
A Stage 1 diesel calibration usually improves midrange torque, which helps with towing and overtaking. The result depends on the engine and the car's condition.
