We listen for supercharger coupler rattle and check belts and tensioners. A worn isolator should be sorted before adding boost.
Timing chain health
Early 5.0 V8s and some Ingenium engines have known timing chain wear concerns. We check for rattle and fault codes before tuning.
Coolant system condition
Plastic coolant pipes and fittings age on these engines. A tuned supercharged Jaguar needs a sound cooling system, so we inspect it first.
Fuel and warranty
Our calibrations assume 98 RON. If your Jaguar is still under warranty, we'll explain how a tune could affect claims before you decide.
