Before you tune your McLaren

We review service history, fault codes, boost control and cooling. On a McLaren, finding small issues before a tune protects a big investment.
Respect the gearbox
The dual-clutch gearbox is strong but not unlimited. We calibrate within sensible torque limits and check clutch condition where possible.
Heat and fuel
Our calibrations assume 98 RON and account for Melbourne summer temperatures. Heat management is a bigger factor than peak boost.
Warranty and resale
If your McLaren is under factory or extended warranty, we'll explain how a tune could affect it. Your original file is always kept.
