Peugeot tuning in Tullamarine, Melbourne
The 308 GTi and 208 GTi are genuinely fun hot hatches, and the right calibration makes them better. We tune Peugeots at our Tullamarine workshop, and we are straight with owners of smaller turbo and diesel models about what will and will not make a real difference.

Performance upgrades for your Peugeot
Peugeot tuning work, from the GTi models to everyday turbos.
GTi ECU remapping
Calibration for the 1.6 litre turbo in the 308 GTi, 208 GTi and RCZ where supported, written on our dyno with the original file backed up.
Turbo petrol and diesel software
Software for the 1.2 PureTech and 1.6 turbo petrols in the 2008, 3008 and 5008, and BlueHDi diesels, where the ECU is supported. Gains are modest, but drivability can improve.
Automatic gearbox considerations
The EAT6 and EAT8 automatics have their own limits. We calibrate engine torque to suit and only adjust gearbox software where our tools support it.
Exhaust systems
Cat-back exhausts for the GTi models that add sound without upsetting the neighbours or VicRoads.
Intake and induction
Intake upgrades for the GTi that support a Stage 2 calibration and help the engine breathe more freely.
Suspension and brakes
Coilovers, sway bars and alignment for a sharper front end, plus pad and fluid upgrades for track use.
Build your Peugeot in stages
Start where it makes sense for your car and budget, then build from there. Every stage is calibrated in-house.
Software only on a healthy, standard car. On a 308 GTi or 208 GTi this is where most of the value is.
Calibration matched to intake, exhaust and intercooler upgrades. Mainly relevant to the GTi models.
Turbo upgrades on the 1.6 THP are possible but specialised. We only plan these after a full inspection and an honest conversation about cost versus benefit.

Before you tune your Peugeot
Check the timing belt or chain
The 1.2 PureTech uses a belt that runs in oil and needs close attention, while the 1.6 turbo has its own timing chain and carbon build-up concerns. We check these before any tuning.
Health check and service
We scan for faults, check the fuel pump and ignition, and log the car before tuning. Problems need fixing first, not masking.
Realistic gains on smaller engines
On the smaller turbo and diesel models, software can improve response, but it will not turn an SUV into a hot hatch. We will tell you if your money is better spent elsewhere.
Hybrid and electric models
Plug-in hybrid and electric Peugeots are generally not tuneable. Suspension, wheels and brakes are still on the table.
Peugeot tuning questions
Yes. It is a light, well balanced hot hatch and the 1.6 turbo responds well to careful calibration. We check the engine's health first and calibrate for reliability.
Where the ECU is supported, software can sharpen response on the turbo petrol and diesel models. Gains depend on the car, and we will confirm what is possible before you book.
We keep torque within what the EAT6 or EAT8 can handle reliably. If your gearbox has shift issues, we diagnose those first.
Yes. We service and repair European cars including Peugeot at our Tullamarine workshop, which is the best starting point before any tuning.
