On EDC-equipped cars we calibrate engine torque to protect the dual-clutch transmission and adjust gearbox software only where supported.

Before you tune your Renault
Health check first
Many RS models have had a hard life. We check service history, scan for faults, inspect for boost leaks and log the car before tuning.
EDC gearbox limits
The dual-clutch in the Clio RS and later Megane RS has torque limits. If it already shudders or hesitates, we diagnose that before any tuning.
Manual clutch condition
A tired clutch on a manual Megane RS will slip once torque increases. We check it and talk through options before Stage 2.
Everyday models
On the Captur, Arkana and Koleos, software gains are modest where supported. Suspension, tyres and brakes may serve you better, and we will say so.
Renault tuning questions
Yes. Both the 2.0 and 1.8 litre turbo engines respond well to careful calibration, and the chassis handles the extra performance well. We check the car's health first.
Where the ECU is supported, yes. We keep torque within the EDC gearbox's limits so it stays reliable, which matters more than a big number.
Some diesel Trafic and Master vans can benefit from software for towing and load carrying where supported. Tell us the model and year and we will confirm.
