RacingLine software for the 2.0 TSI EA888 in the Leon Cupra, Cupra Leon, Formentor VZ and Ateca, with GPF-equipped cars catered for by Stage 1+.
DSG gearbox software
Calibration for the DQ250 and DQ381 dual-clutch gearboxes to raise torque limits, sharpen shifts and improve launch behaviour.
Smaller TSI engines
Software for the 1.4 and 1.5 TSI engines in the Leon, Ibiza and Arona where supported, aimed at better response rather than big gains.
Intake and induction

We lead with RacingLine for SEAT and Cupra, an OEM+ range of software and hardware developed for the Volkswagen Group from Stage 1 to Stage 3. Magicmotorsport tools are used for reads and writes where needed, and the original file is always saved.
Before you tune your SEAT or Cupra
Service and health check
We check service history, spark plugs, coils and the water pump, scan for faults and log the car before tuning. EA888 engines run best when they are properly maintained.
DSG type matters
The 7-speed dry clutch DQ200 in smaller models has a lower torque limit than the wet clutch DQ250 and DQ381. We match the tune to your gearbox.
98 RON fuel
Tuned EA888 and TSI engines should run on 98 RON premium unleaded for the best performance and safety margin.
Older and imported SEATs
SEAT left the Australian new car market for some years before Cupra arrived, so older cars vary. We confirm ECU support for your exact model before booking.
SEAT tuning questions
Cupra started as SEAT's performance badge and is now its own brand. Both use Volkswagen Group engines and gearboxes, so the same RacingLine tuning options generally apply.
Stage 1+ is RacingLine's software stage for cars fitted with a gasoline particulate filter, which includes many recent Cupra models sold in Australia.
On EA888 cars we strongly recommend it. The factory gearbox torque limits can hold back the engine tune, and DSG software also improves shift speed and launch.
It depends on the car, its condition and the stage. We calibrate for reliability first and show you before and after dyno results.
